What is in the Rights Knowledge Base and how do you use it?

WELCOME to the NEW portal for the AMEC Rights Knowledge Base. We have made some important changes based on feedback from members.

The portal contains a new feature which allows you to find information on a specific country using a simple drop down box. Global licensing information is presented in a series of Country Landscapes.

We are still populating this section and we are asking our members in each country to update their Country Landscape each quarter. You may think it does not apply to you because there is currently no form of newspaper licensing in your country. We would still like you to complete the Country Landscape questionnaire (one page) because it enables us to build a complete global picture. This is a resource built by members for members, so we ask you to help us make it as useful as possible.

By building a set of Country Landscapes, it will enable AMEC members all around the world to understand the implications of content licensing for specific markets where you may do business, or plan to. We believe this is a major initiative by AMEC. However, for the Rights Knowledge Base to work we need YOUR help to provide us with information about what is happening in your country or region.

To log in to the Rights Knowledge Base, please use the same username and password you have been provided by Julie Wilkinson in the AMEC Secretariat. If you have accessed this Knowledge Base from within the Members Section at www.amecorg.com then you will have been logged in automatically.

The Rights Knowledge Base is available to all AMEC members.
